Clint Eastwood is the nation's most popular movie star, according to a poll released Wednesday.

Mel Gibson was second, followed by Tom Cruise, John Wayne and Harrison Ford in the Harris Poll of 1,010 adults asked to name their favorite movie star.

Among the other top vote getters was Kevin Costner in sixth place, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Richar Gere and Sean Connery all tied for seventh, and Denzel Washington 10th.
